Extremely safe and secure. Can't overload - the system will not raise if the weight limit is exceeded. 

The  motor is located in the base of the unit.  Constructed from aircraft grade aluminum, the lifting cables are stainless steel, and the frame is black anodized. 

Locked with a key-controlled switch.  Stores flat against wall.  

Heavy duty PVC diamond plate flooring.  Slatwall backing is handy for hooks for hanging items and supplies.
